This game offers an interactive portrayal of Martin Luther's act of nailing his ninety-five theses to the door of All Saints' Church in Wittenberg, serving as a visual representation of a pivotal moment in history. Each thesis functions as a level, challenging players to demonstrate quick reflexes and precision, as the difficulty increases with each stage. Some nails prove advantageous, providing additional points or benefits, while others are obstacles to avoid. The goal is to maximize your score by striking the most valuable nails with accuracy.

Across ninety-five levels, players explore the original texts that initiated the Reformation in October 1517. These theses criticized widespread abuses, particularly the sale of plenary indulgences—certificates that purportedly reduced temporal punishment for sins in purgatory. By progressing through the levels, players encounter the increasing complexity of the nailing process: initial levels feature straightforward nails, but later stages introduce more challenging elements such as nails requiring multiple hits, high-value targets, moving nails that are harder to hit, and environmental effects like fog or rain that impact visibility.

Advancing through the game allows players to unlock subsequent theses, each contributing to a deeper understanding of Luther’s positions against ecclesiastical practices. The gameplay is designed to escalate in difficulty, testing both reaction time and strategic focus.

For registered users via Game Center, scores are recorded and displayed on leaderboards, fostering a competitive environment among players worldwide.
